"With a daunting and unfamiliar name, the event called The Trials is actually a rather simple yet infrequent event in the War Dragons game. Think of this event as a very long boxing match, you against the world (Blackbloods world).
You will be able to use all your dragons starting with the lowest (red) tier first slowly unlocking better tiers until they are all unlocked. Yes, every dragon that you ever hatched can and should be used starting with the most noob on up to eventually your best dragons assuming they are in higher castle tiers. As you use your dragons to face computer maps solo (no team help), your dragons will be beaten down. There is no heal time in the Trials, just like in real life boxing. Once your dragon's health is gone, it will not be revived in this event (it's virtually dead) unless you have coveted Miracles. Miracles which can be found sometimes in treasure chests will revive all your dragons one time. However, each arena (red, blue, etc.) has different numbers of required miracles to heal dragons. Outside the event, your dragons will function normally.
HINT: have as many dragons at Expert level prior to entering this event. Health is key, so the more dragons with potential life left means the longer you can compete in this event. Hopefully you capped that Kinnara all that time ago!
You are competing against yourself basically, or other players if you want to think about event rank. Obviously players who have been in the game longer with more powerful dragons will have the best advantage in this event potentially lasting the longest through tougher and tougher bases."

"It seems we are spending a bunch of time looking at the basics right now, and something that is totally overlooked by a lot of players is the simple matter of research.
With that in mind, we worked on a path that you can follow along with our recently published Breeding Guide, so that you can have an estimation of what your extra eggs might be best spent on."

"My name is Salamanca, and I'm a Base-Aholic."
Building a killer base is not intuitive; answers to the following questions are tricky:
"Do I build many towers or a few big ones?"
"Do I build lots of different towers or group similar ones?"
"Storms or Mages? Lightning or Trebuchets?"
I'm shocked at how many players (even in Diamond league) have weak, runty bases (for their level). It is not hard to have a base with over 150k defense before level 50. Let me tell you how it's done. Also, come check out my base anytime (it's not perfect, I had to restart my process three times as I learned more (*facepalm memory*). You can even attack me and I won't be offended, just please don't do it when I have a lot of resources stored up and please provide me some feedback! See the bottom of the post for how to see my base if you don't know how.
Step 1: Don't build Ballistas. Just stick the ones you already built in storage. I have like five in there, it's okay. Keep your farms next to your castle on the big island.
Step 2: Put your upgrading buildings (get Elite so you have two) BY THEMSELVES on your outermost island. They won't occupy boosted space this way. Swap out whatever's cooking regularly. .....

"Leveling Guide: 14+ Tips to Level Your Dragons Fast in War Dragons
All, here is a guide to leveling. War dragons is super fun if you can level your dragons quickly, breed them quickly, and overall have a strong army to impress your friends and help lead your team. Leveling has a few basics that must be mastered, but many tips and tricks that can help as time goes on. Here's my guide, let me know what I am missing and I'll add your tips and credit you in the remarks at the bottom. Copy and paste this into your wiki and email sections of this to your teams (they read the emails 20x more than the wiki, so sending a weekly email on leveling is a great reminder):
1. Each player has an “XP Cap” related to your level, that is the most you can earn from defeating any base. For instance, if you are Level 50, your maximum xp per battle is about 3,400. If you defeat a base level 80, or lvl. 100, or even lvl. 250, you will still only earn 3,400xp. As you get to higher levels, your “XP Cap” will increase to higher amounts.
2. If multiple dragons controlled by you attack in a single battle, the total XP is divided between them, but the cap doesn’t increase (if teammates join, their own cap affects their winnings). Dividing up your xp between dragons is called “XP Dilution.” To level quickly, you must not dilute your xp by sharing betwee dragons in a single battle.
3. Every dragon, every day, gets 3 multiplier “training” battles (x5, x4, x3). They are the key to fast leveling.
4. THE FORMULA TO LEVEL RAPIDLY IS FOR (1) EACH DRAGON TO (2) EARN MAX XP, ON (3) EACH
TRAINING RUN, (4) EACH DAY. .....
