Team Gauntlet

3:46 PM

"It’s a two phase event. The first phase is open for typically one day. During the first phase the Treasure Hunt is open and you’re getting chests from destroyed monuments on enemy bases. Chests contain different event-specific awards such as energy packs, inner fire, etc.
The second phase is a battle one and open for typically four to five days. At this time the chests do or do not (varies from event to event) stop droping from destroyed monuments; regardless of it, the chests are now awarded to a player for successfully attacking a fortress in the event.
The event map is available since the start of the battle phase.

1. The map shows 14 fortresses. At the start of the battle phase you and your team can attack only one fortress in the upper left corner of the map. After conquering it you and your team can attack the next one, etc. (the “battle path” is shown by dotted arrows.)

2. In the upper left corner of the map you can find the energy counter () and energy renew button (.)

3. Also you can find on the map (to the right from the energy counter and energy renew button) some other information: the current hourly victory points amount from all the fortress taken over by your team, your and your team ranks, and your personal achievement in the even in terms of awarded points, the remaining amount of inner fire (see bellow.)
At the start of the second phase all the fortresses are owned by the Blackbloods (a virtual computer team) and the main task of the event is to take over as many fortresses as your team can. All fortresses are of different defense power (level) – the 1st one on the battle path is the weakest and the last one is the strongest, the higher defense power is the more points you and your team get by taking it over.
Don’t be surprised when attacking the fortresses as defense layout on them is generated by computer and has nothing to do with layouts you’ve got used to in the game.
Each attack costs you 4 energy points.
When your team conquers a fortress it becomes unavailable for further attacks until it gets free by the Blackbloods (the Blackbloods “return” to the fortress within several hours after you conquered it.)
You can increase the amount of point awarded to you for a successful attack by using the inner fire. The inner fire is to be chosen when your select a dragon to attack the base. You should apply the inner fire to the dragon by choosing it from available spells/resists in the free (third) slot after you select the dragon to attack the base by.
After a successful attack you will be shown a window with the resulting damage inflicted on the fortress by your attack and this damage components (bonuses, etc.) As usually the stronger the defense the more damage points. These damage points go to your personal achievements. Upon accumulating some damage point haul you can get an individual prize.
All attacks take energy points. The energy restores with a speed of 1 point per 15 minutes and is limited by 16 points if you don’t apply energy packs. Thus you need to take part in the event since its very beginning and you should not allow the energy to reach its ceiling (16 points) and freeze there.
As all fortresses are of different defense power, the players that don’t have strong dragons should concentrate on fortresses they can comfortably defeat or ask their teammates with strong dragons for help in attacks on strong fortresses beyond their reach if raided solo.
From time to time the game will inform you that there is a PVP island in your waters. A PVP island is constituted by the bases of an enemy team (a real one.) You can attack this island and the players of the enemy army can attack you and your teammates. The team that defeats the defense of the PVP island first gets victory points that go to team rank.
Good luck in the event!..."
